Kirk finishes two shorts he's been working on for several years called "Life After" and "A Very Mary Christmas". He holds a grand premiere to showcase them along side of fellow filmmaker Tim Balko. The preimiere was held at the Downtown Media Arts Center in orlando. Over 100 of his closest friends shows for this premiere. Kirk, after the premiere looks back on the experience "I'll never forget the feeling I got when I stood there in front of everyone that I cared about and showed them everything, my soul. And when it was all said and done, everyone came out in high spirits and a rourious applause filled the house"

 3/2006

Kirk WINS at the San Fernando Fim Festival in north hollywood for Best screenplay on his feature screenplay called "LIFE AFTER". His script was also accepted at the Beverly Hills film fest, however did not win. For the first time ever, Kirk traveled to California to a welcoming reception. This would mark one of the final times that Kirk would just "visit" the valley.

Kirk begins shooting "Aging Imaginations" a powerful story about loss and happiness inside one's own imagination. The movie can be found HERE.

Kirk Makes the big move to california. He packs up his car and leaves it all behind. "It was one of the most liberating things I have ever done. It took 5 days, and I was all by myself. However, I would never trade it for anything. The soul searching and sights that I found will stay with me for the rest of my life"

8/2007

Kirk partners with a start up production company and will direct several new episodes of two-three new web series. If the series takes off, Kirk may make a regular appearance as season director. 

9/2007

Kirk shoots a new web series called "30 seconds from oblivion" on super 16 film. "there's a first for alot of things" said Kirk recently, "however now I can call myself a real film director. Everything kinda fell into place for this shoot to happen, it was magic, really."

Kirk also starts work on another web series that's more of less "SCRUBS" in a Psychology office. Kirk adds "Im really getting an all star chance here to do two differnt genres. 30 seconds is this gritty action suspense where as the other project is an off beat comedy. I'm really excited"

Kirk also gears up for several new halloween shorts that will be shot in october.
